carlriedel.com offers a free membership tier that gives you access to the full CARL documentation and member-only content. When you create an account, we store your email address, username, and a bcrypt hash of your password. Your plain-text password is never stored or accessible.
Member sessions are managed via a secure, httponly cookie. Sessions expire automatically after 30 days of inactivity. You can log out at any time to clear your session immediately.

8. Affiliate Disclosure

- Server logs: Web server logs containing IP addresses are retained for up to 30 days for security purposes, then automatically deleted.
